Admission policy consultation – for children starting at our school in September 2027

Whilst we mirror the Leeds City Council Admission Policy (for Leeds LA schools) and the North Yorkshire Council Admission Policy (for North Yorkshire LA schools), the Trust Board at all Selby Educational Trust schools are the admission authority.

This means the Trust Board must determine (set and approve) our September 2027 admissions policy by 28 February 2026.

Our proposed 2027 policies are below. We seek your views on these changes. The deadline for responses is midnight on Friday 5th December 2025. You can reply by emailing contact@setschools.uk
