Making a safeguarding referral
The procedure for reporting a safeguarding concern for children in the Selby area is handled by North Yorkshire Council's Children and Families Service.
If a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 999.
For non-emergency referrals, contact the North Yorkshire Multi-Agency Screening Team:
Phone (urgent concerns): 0300 131 2131. When prompted, say "children's social care".
Phone (general): 01609 535633 for the Selby locality team.
The procedure for reporting a safeguarding concern in the Leeds area is handed by Leeds Children's Social Work Service.

You can contact Children’s Social Work Services on 0113 222 4403 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, except Wednesdays when we're open from 10am). You don't need to give your name if you don't want to.
